Data with Purpose is intentionally using data to achieve specific goals or objectives. For example, rather than simply collecting and storing data for its own sake, organisations and individuals use data to inform decision-making, improve processes, and create value. For Data with Purpose to be effective, it is essential to clearly understand the problem or opportunity the data is being used to address, as well as a plan for how the data will be collected, analysed, and acted upon. Therefore, a combination of technical expertise in data analysis and a deep understanding of the business or organisational context in which the data is being used is necessary.

On October 25^th 2023, the Cairo branch of the NOVA University Lisbon at The Knowledge Hub Universities will host the Cairo edition of the NOVA Information Management School “Data with Purpose Summit”.
